Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, became a centre of international sports activity, bringing together children, students, young athletes, educators, coaches, and representatives of the sporting community at the AGT & KMWF ATLANTS – 2026 International Mas-Wrestling Tournament for children and students.
Under the inspiring motto “A Summer of Strength, Willpower and Unity,” the tournament brought together participants from different countries, demonstrating how sport can overcome cultural and language barriers, strengthen friendship among nations, and inspire a new generation of strong, healthy, and ambitious young people.
Throughout the tournament, young athletes had the opportunity to demonstrate their physical fitness, endurance, strategic thinking, and determination to win while representing their teams, educational institutions, and countries. Mas-wrestling is a traditional strength sport in which two athletes sit facing each other, brace their feet against a special support, and pull a wooden stick in opposite directions.
